I can confirm through multiple sources that Brandon McGruder will be named as the interim head basketball coach at NAIA Mayville State (ND). He will replace Darren Tighe, who resigned last week.

McGruder had most recently served as the head assistant at NJCAA Central Arizona College. Prior to his six year stint at CAC, McGruder spent two seasons as an assistant at NAIA Peru State (NE). The Nebraska native played collegiately at Grand Canyon, where he led the team in 3’s made in 2008-09.
