Joshua Mendoza is out as the head basketball coach at NAIA Florida Memorial after just one season.

Mendoza, who had previously served as an assistant in the program, was elevated to head coach back in June 2025 following the departure of Delano Thomas (who joined the staff at High Point).

This season, Mendoza led the Lions to a 18-11 (10-6 Sun Conference) record.
