Brennen Shingleton has resigned as the head men’s basketball coach at NAIA Texas Wesleyan. There has not been an official announcement from the school, but Shingleton posted the following on X:

Shingleton had been the head coach at TWU since 2012, and had served as and assistant coach / associate head coach for ten seasons prior to that. Shingleton was named Sooner Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2016 and 2017 while leading the Rams to three consecutive regular season conference championships in 2016, 2017 and 2018. He was also named NAIA National Coach of the Year while leading the Rams to their second national title in 2017.
