Story: Adam Nelson (@HD_DirtKing)
After taking over the program back on May 27th, it appears that Mark DeLaney is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at NAIA Spring Arbor College.
There has been no announcement made, but DeLaney has been scrubbed from the SAU website, and his introductory press release from last month has been 404’d.
Prior to his month-long stint at SAU, DeLaney served as an assistant coach at Ashland University, and also worked at Grace College, Northern State University and Cedarville University. He replaced long-time head coach Ryan Cottingham who retired back in April.
At this point, no official statement has been released by Spring Arbor regarding DeLaney’s departure or the program’s next steps. Stay tuned to HoopDirt for updates as more information becomes available.
