NAIA Reinhardt University has hired Sean Glaze as an assistant men’s basketball coach, and promoted Dylan Bohling to the full-time assistant role. Here is the official release from the school announcing both moves:

Reinhardt Basketball is making moves to help improve their program and they bring in long-time basketball coach, Sean Glaze, for this.

Sean Glaze is excited to join the Men’s Basketball Staff at Reinhardt and brings 28 years of coaching experience.

As head coach at four different schools during his high school career, Glaze’s teams earned a total of 166 wins and six trips to the state tournament. Glaze retired as a teacher and coach after taking the Cass Men’s Basketball Program to state two years in a row. 

He is also the founder and owner of Great Results Team Building, a company he began over a decade ago to share the lessons that helped him build successful team cultures.

As an author and speaker, Sean Glaze has worked with organizations like the CDC, John Deere, Coca-Cola, and Emory University to help leaders improve teamwork and accelerate the growth of more effective leaders.

Glaze had worked previously as a consultant with the Reinhardt Basketball program and was introduced to Coach Justin Newton through FCA Director Bill Queen, a long-time friend.

“Living so close to the university, this is a terrific opportunity to be a small part of something larger than myself again,” Glaze said. “And I am thrilled to be able to work alongside Coach Newton, who has always done a fantastic job of developing talented and competitive teams, and works even harder to help his players become thoughtful and productive people.”

Head Coach Justin Newton had this to say about the new hire, “I am ecstatic to add Sean to our staff. He has worked with our team before and it has always been fantastic. Sean brings in a wealth of experience with 20+ years of coaching and as a speaker/consultant all over the country and there is so much we can learn from him. I’m really excited about what he brings to the table and I know he can help us take our program to new heights!” 

In addition to bringing in Coach Glaze, the Eagles have promoted Coach Dylan Bohling to a full-time position as an assistant coach to the program. Bohling joined Reinhardt Basketball Program as a Graduate Assistant Coach last summer. Along with helping the varsity team, Bohling was the head coach of Reinhardt Basetball’s Reserve Team.
