NAIA NEWS: Southeastern U parts ways with Head Men’s Basketball Coach Randy Lee

Southeastern University athletics director Drew Watson announced today that the university has parted ways with men’s basketball coach Randy Lee.

Lee spent the last two seasons as head coach and served two separate stints as an assistant coach for a total of six seasons.

The Fire won The Sun Conference regular season and tournament titles last year, but struggled to regain that form this year, finishing the season with a 14-14 record and a playoff loss to Ave Maria.

“I want to thank Randy for his history of dedication to the Fire men’s basketball program. Throughout the years, he has been instrumental in recruiting some of the best players in school history. We all wish him the best in his future endeavors.”

A national search for the next head coach is underway.
