Ray Stone, a 2000 graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan, will step away from his position as the head men’s basketball coach, and transition to the role Assistant Athletic Director for Internal Operations.

Stone just completed his sixth season as head coach of the men’s basketball program, and has served his alma mater in a variety of roles. He began as an admissions counselor immediately following graduation to working as an assistant on the men’s basketball program, head coach of the cross country program, and Coordinator of Athletic Event Management before assuming the head men’s basketball coach position in 2018.

Stone’s record as head coach is 84-80 with one national tournament appearance.
