Multiple sources have told me that Hargrave Military Academy head basketball coach A.W. Hamilton will become an assistant coach at NC State. Hamilton spent five years as an assistant at Hargrave working under current NC State head coach Kevin Keatts before taking over in 2011 (when Keatts departed for Louisville). In his six seasons as the head coach, Hamilton has compiled an incredible 237-22 record, including a 90-3 mark over the past two campaigns. An official announcement is expected shortly.
