NCCU’s Moton earns 200th career win

North Carolina Central University men’s basketball head coach LeVelle Moton celebrated his 200th win in a big way, as the Eagles recorded a 102-50 victory over Carver on Thursday, Dec. 9 inside McDougald-McLendon Arena.

Moton is just the third men’s basketball coach at NCCU to reach the mark, and he sits with the third-most victories as an Eagle behind Floyd Brown with 251, and John McLendon with 239.

Moton, one of the best players ever to play at NCCU (1,714 points), was named as the head coach at his alma mater back in 2009.
