NCMC Names Esry New Head Men’s Basketball Coach

North Central Missouri College has selected Jeremy Esry, originally from Hamilton, MO, to fill the vacancy of Head Men’s Basketball Coach left open after Steve Richman moved to Head Women’s Softball Coach. Jeremy received his Associate in Arts from NCMC and during his time, played men’s basketball. Jeremy continued his education at Central Methodist University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Coaching and a Master’s degree in Education.

Jeremy was previously the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at NCMC and transferred to Head Men’s Basketball Coach after Board of Trustee approval at the July 26 meeting.  Jeremy also has basketball coaching experience at Central Methodist University and Peru State College.

Jeremy stated,” I am very excited for the opportunity to lead the Men’s Basketball Program at North Central Missouri College. Being an NCMC graduate and former player for Coach Richman, North Central will always be a special place for me. I feel lucky to be able to work for an Institution that has given me so much throughout the years.  I would like to thank Dr. Klaver, the Board of Trustees and all other administration at the college as well as Athletic Director Steve Richman, who have all made this possible. Go Pirates!!”
