Multiple sources have confirmed to me that veteran coach Danny Nee has accepted the Merchant Marine job. Nee was an assistant at Towson last season and has a 410-381 record in 26 seasons as a DI head coach at Ohio University (1981-86), Nebraska (1986-2000), Robert Morris (2000-01) and Duquesne (2001-06).

Seems like a great fit for USMMA -and just in time for the start of practice in two weeks!

I’ll let you know who I hear as possible replacements for him at Towson.
