I have heard that Nevada will announce their new head coach as early as next Thursday. The candidate has already been identified, and is just waiting approval from the Nevada Board of Regents (they will meet on Thursday). This search has moved pretty quickly. Former head coach David Carter was released immediately following the Wolfpack’s season ending loss in the Mountain West Tournament just nine days ago. More on this as I hear it.
