New Charlotte Athletic Director Mike Hill announced today that he has fired Interim head basketball coach Houston Fancher and his entire staff. Fancher replaced Mark Price back on December 14th after Price was unexpectedly released nine games into the season. The 49ers finished the year with a  6-23 (2-16 C-USA) record.

Hill also said today that he hopes to have a new head coach in place by the Final Four (first week in April).
