Weick agrees to contract extension at Minnesota Duluth

The University of Minnesota Duluth and head men’s basketball coach Justin Wieck have agreed to a contract extension that will keep him on the Bulldog bench through the 2028-29 season. “Justin is respected by our entire staff and I am pleased to announce that he will continue to lead Bulldog basketball,” said UMD director of athletics Forrest Karr.

JUCO DIRT: Downing named Head Basketball Coach at Seward County CC

Austin Downing has been named as the new head coach at Seward County CC according to a social media post that he made earlier today. Downing had been an assistant at Barton Community College for the past three seasons. The program has gone 86-19 during that time. More on this move once it becomes official.
