Ferrell named assistant at College of Charleston
College of Charleston Head Coach Earl Grant completed his coaching staff with the hiring of assistant coach Quinton Ferrell on Thursday. A former two-time all-state performer out of North Augusta High School, Ferrell returns home to the Palmetto State from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He will work primarily with the Cougars’ guards.

Former UTEP head coach Rabedeaux passes away
Jason Rabedeaux, who followed Hall of Famer Don Haskins as UTEP’s basketball head coach and was the Sporting News and Houston Chronicle Western Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2001, has passed away. Rabedeaux died in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday. He was the head coach of Vietnam’s first-ever professional basketball team, the
