Hansen signs extension at Nebraska-Omaha

Omaha Director of Athletics Trev Alberts has extended head men’s basketball coach Derrin Hansen’s contract to a four-year deal through June 30, 2018, it was announced Sunday. In his ninth season in 2013-14, Hansen guided Omaha to a record of 17-15 (5-9 Summit League) and his program’s first Division I postseason appearance in school history.
