HOT RUMOR: Michael Curry to FAU

Multiple sources have told me that Florida Atlantic will hire Michael Curry as their new head basketball coach. Curry played in the NBA for 11 seasons. He was most recently an assistant with the Philadelphia 76ers. The announcement is expected later today. More on this when it becomes official.

Harford CC names head coach

The Harford Athletic Department and Athletic Director Ken Krsolovic have announced the hiring of Mike Smelkinson as men’s basketball coach. Smelkinson was previously at the helm of the Howard Dragons. "Mike Smelkinson stood out among a huge pool of applicants. Fontbonne U. names head coach

Fontbonne University has named Anthony Hall Sr. the school’s new head men’s basketball coach. Hall, currently the associate athletic director for the university, succeeds Steve Schafer, who stepped down as coach in March for a position with Benedictine College in Mesa, Ariz. Hall will become just the third head men’s basketball coach in Fontbonne’s history.
