The St. Cloud State University men’s basketball team has announced Dan DeWitt as their new assistant coach for the 2011-12 season. DeWitt replaces Andrew Cone, who was an assistant for six seasons. Prior to arriving at SCSU, DeWitt spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at the University of Minnesota under current Coach Tubby Smith.

Baton Rouge CC is on to their third head coach since June. I can confirm a rumor that I have been hearing for over a week that former Southern Mississippi assistant Ricky Wilson has taken over as the head coach. He replaces James Rix who was named as the interim head coach over the summer.
