Washington named Interim Head Coach at Grambling
Robert Washington Jr. has been named as the interim head coach at Grambling State. He was an assistant in the program, and will replace Rick Duckett who is now claiming that he was fired. Originally, the University said that Duckett resigned following the death of one of his players during a conditioning session last month.

Just catching up on a some recent hirings from the last few days……. DIII Rhode Island College has hired John Weir as an assistant. He was an assistant at Connecticut College last season and played at RIC from 2003-2007. The University of Maine added Ed Kohtala to the staff. Kohtala has been at a bunch

I’ve heard from a well placed source that Dennis Hopson, the #3 pick in the 1987 NBA draft, has accepted an assistants job at Bowling Green. Hopson has been on Rollie Massimino’s staff at Northwood for the past few years. This is a great move for the former Ohio State standout and Toledo native. Hopson

Not much to report these days, but I can confirm that Morrisville State has hired a new coach, but he won’t arriving on campus until the end of the month. Joseph Smith had been a player / coach for a professional team in Denmark last season. Before that, he was an assistant at SUNY Utica.
