BREAKING: UConn’s Calhoun to retire
According to every major news outlet, UConn head coach Jim Calhoun will retire on Thursday. Current UConn assistant Kevin Ollie is expected to be named as the head coach and given a one-year contract. Calhoun led the Huskies to three National Championships (1999, 2004, 2011), and won 627 games during his 26 years at UConn.

HOT: Extension for UNLV’s Rice
The Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents on Thursday voted to approve a five-year contract for UNLV men’s basketball head coach Dave Rice. Under the new deal, Rice will earn $100,000 a year more or a total base salary of $600,000. The new contract also provides Rice with an additional $100,000 annually for
