Northern New Mexico College has announced the hiring of Head Assistant Coach, Billy Keys. Keys returns to the college ranks after a 4 year tenure as the head boys basketball coach at Mayfield High School (Las Cruces, NM).

“Adding Billy to the staff helps us in so many ways. His experience at the collegiate and professional ranks gives our players something to look forward to. His maturity brings depth to our practices and games. He played for legendary Coach Lou Henson (New Mexico State University), which influenced his coaching style in a a very positive manner. I worked with Billy 20 years ago in the New Mexico Slam (ABA), and joining forces again will be a great experience.” Head Coach Ryan Cordova stated on Coach Keys.
