Incoming University of North Dakota head women’s basketball coach Travis Brewster announced today that Tom Dryburgh has been named assistant coach. Dryburgh’s main responsibilities will be scouting opponents, film exchange, game day video, individual workouts, and hiring student managers and practice players. He will also assist with recruiting, alumni outreach and summer camps.
No stranger to UND, Dryburgh spent the last five seasons with the Fighting Sioux men’s basketball team, working the first four years as a graduate student manager and the 2011-12 season as the director of operations. He also played for the Sioux during the 2006-07 season as a junior, but a back injury prevented him from playing his senior season (2007-08).
