The North Dakota State University athletic department announced multi-year contract extensions for three head coaches Thursday, Aug. 22.
Men’s basketball coach Saul Phillips accepted a five-year contract with a two-year rollover. Wrestling coach Roger Kish and softball coach Darren Mueller each accepted three-year contracts with two-year rollovers.
Phillips has a 108-77 record entering his seventh season as head coach. He led NDSU to a 24-10 finish last season and a second straight appearance in the College Basketball Invitational. NDSU returned to the Summit League title game for the first time since winning the 2009 league championship.
