I can confirm that North Texas head coach Grant McCasland will hire Matt Braeuer as an assistant coach. Braeuer, who had most recently been an assistant at the College of Charleston, will replace James Miller who was hired at New Mexico State back in August.

Braeuer had worked as the Director of Basketball Operations at C of C before being promoted to assistant coach this past May. A former standout at Wichita State, Braeuer has previously spent time as an assistant at Sam Houston State, and as the Video Coordinator at Maryland.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
