I can confirm that the job was offered to Mike Gillespie earlier this week, and he turned it down. He is currently having success running his own skills academy in Jacksonville. The job has now been offered to and accepted by former Hofstra assistant Steve DeMeo. Demeo brings a ton of DI experience to the job – he has also been an assistant at Providence, Iona, and Central Florida.
