Northwestern head men’s basketball coach Chris Collins has announced the addition of Chicago native Armon Gates to the team’s coaching staff as an assistant coach.

Gates joins the Wildcats after spending the last two seasons just down Sheridan Road on the staff at Loyola University Chicago. He joins Patrick Baldwin and Brian James as assistants on Collins’ staff.
