Some things that I’ve heard from two NYC JC’s…

• Word on the street is that the two finalists at Hostos CC are Hunter College assistant Eddie Lau and Hostos assistant Darryl Jones. They are in the hunt to replace Dr. Jody King who became the head coach at Mercy College earlier this summer. Sounds like this one will be done this week.

• I have heard from a great source that ASA (Brooklyn) head coach Ken Wilcox has departed and will become the first-ever head coach at ASA (Miami). He will also be the AD for both campuses while working from Miami. It sounds like assistant Devonne Martinez will replace Wilcox as the head coach in Brooklyn.
