Following up on a rumor that HoopDirt.com posted back on 6/9 (DI Staffers on the Move) – Presbyterian College and head men’s basketball coach Gregg Nibert have officially announced the addition of Cassius Bosket to the staff as assistant coach. He replaces Steve Roberts, who became the head men’s basketball coach at Lander this past spring.
“I’m very excited about Cassius joining our staff and team,” said Coach Nibert. “Being from Saluda, S.C., and attending Clemson, where he worked with Coach (Brad) Brownell, are positives for Presbyterian College basketball. This last year working for John Cooper at Miami (OH) was great as well. Cassius brings a great deal of enthusiasm and has a tremendous work ethic. Everyone I talked to said what a great and loyal person he is and that you can trust him. That’s what we want in our program.”
Bosket comes to PC after spending the last two seasons with the RedHawks of Miami (OH) as the Director of Video Operations. In that position he coordinated all aspects of the team’s video.
Bosket joined the Miami staff after spending four years as a manager with the Clemson men’s basketball program. During his time with the Tigers, Bosket edited film from team and individual workouts. He also assisted with drills and exercises associated with the guards during team workouts and practices.
Additionally, Bosket assisted the Clemson staff with recruiting materials as well as planning and executing outside projects such as campus visits, alumni reunions and awards banquets.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to work for Coach Nibert,” said Bosket. “It’s exciting to have the chance to work under and learn from such a great basketball mind. Presbyterian College is a special place with great leadership. The community is a perfect fit for my family. It’s truly a blessing to be a PC Blue Hose!”
Bosket, who is married to Addy Enlow, earned a bachelor’s degree in management from Clemson in 2013, with a minor in athletic leadership. The couple resides in Clinton.
