Following up on my Tweet from earlier this afternoon…
Western Illinois has officially named Chad Boudreau as their new head men’s basketball coach. He had spent the past three seasons as the associate head coach at WIU under Rob Jeter, who recently departed for Southern Utah.
Before joining the Leathernecks staff, Boudreau served as the head coach at Highland College (IL) for three seasons, where he led the Cougars three consecutive Arrowhead Conference titles. He earned Arrowhead Conference Coach of the Year honors all three seasons of his Highland tenure and was named NJCAA Region IV Coach of the Year in 2018 and 2020.
Boudreau was also a long-time assistant at Milwaukee (2005-2016), and served as the head coach at Indian Hills College from 1999-2005.
