Following up on my report from earlier today (D3 DIRT)…Linfield has now released a statement regarding the coaching change made in their men’s basketball program:
A search for a new head men’s basketball coach is underway at Linfield University.
Vice President for Athletics Scott Brosius announced Friday that the university is seeking a new head coach after two years under the leadership of Levi Sieg.
“We appreciate the contributions Levi Sieg made during his time at Linfield,” said Brosius. “We believe it is time for the program to move in a different direction.”
A national search is underway now to locate a replacement. Interested applicants may apply directly through the Linfield University careers application portal.
Until a new coach is hired, potential student-athletes seeking more information about the program should contact assistant athletic director Jessica Hollen at jhollen@linfield.edu.
