I teased this one earlier today on Twitter – it’s now official. Carson Cunningham is out as the head men’s basketball coach at the University of the Incarnate Word. UIW released the following statement late this afternoon:

Cunningham went 42-105 (.286) in his five seasons at UIW, including a 12-19 (6-12 Southland) mark this past season. Cunningham signed a four-year extension after last season that would have had him under contract until 2025-26.
