Joe Esposito is the newest addition to Texas Tech head basketball coach Tubby Smith’s staff.

Esposito spent six seasons on Smith’s staff in Minnesota as the Director of Basketball Operations. While in Minnesota, he handled all administrative duties of the Golden Gopher basketball program and coordinated all aspects of the Tubby Smith Basketball Camps and Clinics.

Prior to his stay in Minnesota, he spent the 2006-07 season as the head coach at The Villages Charter High School in Florida, where he recorded the best record in school history and advanced The Villages to the Class 3A District 7 Final Four.
