Idaho State Director of Athletics Jeff Tingey has named Bill Evans the new men’s basketball coach. Evans, who is the 22nd coach in program history, is the winningest coach in Southern Utah history with 209 victories. Evans is a seasoned veteran of 33 years in the coaching ranks. Prior to joining coach Wayne Tinkle at Montana he was the head coach at his Alma Mater, SUU from 1992-2007. Before being named head coach he was an assistant at Southern Utah from 1990-92.
