The worst kept secret in America has now been made official. Jim Molinari has resigned at Western Illinois. We first had this on 4/6 (http://hoopdirt.com/blog/9b175ba5/western-illinois-rumor/…).

Molinari is headed to Nebraska where he will become an assistant to Tim Miles. WIU associate head coach Wade Hokenson will serve as acting head coach.

Names we’ve heard as replacements are Ball State assistant Billy Wright and Minnesota State head coach Matt Margenthaler (search our previous blogs for more on them – I have already talked about both).
