Mount St. Mary’s University has officially named Jamion Christian as its new head coach. A 2004 graduate of the Mount, Christian becomes the 21st head coach in the history of the program.

Christian, was an assistant coach under Shaka Smart at VCU this season, helping guide the Rams to the Colonial Athletic Association title and the third round of the NCAA tournament.

Christian will be formally introduced at a press conference on campus tomorrow. The press conference will be streamed live on www.mountathletics.tv.
