Truett McConnell head men’s basketball coach Jon Yeh has added Kaylee O’Herron and Samuel Ashley to his staff:
2026-27 marks the first year on staff for Kaylee O’Herron. “Coach O” recently served as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in 2025-26 and Scottsdale Community College in 2023-25, both in Arizona. Prior to that, she worked as the Assistant Boys Varsity Coach at Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix.
O’Herron is an active volunteer with Fellowship of Christian Athletes and FCA camps. Professionally, she holds a Registered Behavior Technician certification and conducts Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for clients. O’Herron is a graduate of South Mountain College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Health Science. The daughter of a long-time professional and college basketball coach, she is originally from Simi Valley, Calif.
2026-27 marks the first year on staff for Samuel Ashley, originally from Beavercreek, Ohio. Ashley graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C., with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management.
Ashley was a Student Assistant Coach in his final year at Bob Jones in 2025-26 and was a Head Coach at various levels of the Greenville Hurricanes homeschool program from 2023-2025. He also has extensive experience working with Point Guard College.
