HoopDirt.com can confirm that former San Diego head coach Bill Grier will become an assistant on Travis Ford’s staff at Oklahoma State.  Grier was released by USD back in March – he compiled a 117-144 record in his eight seasons as the head coach there.  Before coming to San Diego in 2007, Grier spent sixteen seasons as an assistant at Gonzaga.  He will replace Chris Ferguson who became an assistant at Charlotte back in April. The official announcement could come as early as today.
