Omaha Vice Chancellor / Director of Athletics Adrian Dowell released the following statement regarding tonight’s (Dec. 16) men’s basketball non-conference game vs. York:
“Omaha Men’s Basketball head coach Chris Crutchfield will not be present at tonight’s non-conference game vs. York as he recovers from a successful previously-scheduled medical procedure. Associate head coach Kyan Brown will serve as our acting head coach this evening. We expect Coach Crutchfield to return to the team for Saturday’s game at Lamar and wish him a speedy recovery.”
NOTE: Pursuant to NCAA policy, Tuesday’s game will still count on Crutchfield’s wins-loss record.
