Pacific has promoted top assistant Ron Verlin to be its new basketball coach, replacing Bob Thomason after he spent 25 years coaching his alma mater.
Ron has been a part of Pacific Basketball as the Associate Head Coach for the last 19 years, under retiring head coach Bob Thomason. He has been with Coach Thomason for all five NCAA Tournament appearances and the program’s seven Big West Conference titles. He helped Coach Thomason and the Tigers to 354 total wins, including 10 seasons with 20 or more wins.
