Parenti named Director of Player Development and Recruiting Coordinator at Portland State

Camden Parenti returns to the Portland State Basketball Program this season as the team’s Director of Player Development and Recruiting Coordinator.

Parenti spent four years as a team manager for the Vikings from 2017-21 while a student at Portland State. He earned a degree in Business Marketing from PSU in 2021.

“We are very excited to have Camden back with us,” said Head Coach Jase Coburn. “He worked really hard for us for four years as a student manager. I am really proud of him and glad all his hard work and loyalty paid off. He has always had great relationships with our players and has worked his way up. He really understands the system and knows exactly how I am and what I expect. I couldn’t be any happier to have him back with us in a larger role.”

A native of southern California, Parenti attended Temecula Valley High School where he lettered in basketball three seasons. During the 2021-22 season he served as an assistant basketball coach for the TVHS varsity team. Parenti also coached the Gamepoint AAU Inland Empire basketball team over the past year.
