After starting putting together a 12-1 non-conference record, things have gone south for Penn State and head coach Pat Chambers. The Nittany Lions are now 3-12 in the Big Ten (15-13 overall). Yesterday however, Penn State AD Sandy Barbour gave Chambers a vote of confidence, saying that he will be the coach next year. According to Penn Live’s David Jones, Barbour has confirmed that Chambers will be given at least one more season, saying "He deserves more opportunity than he’s gotten. And we need to help him more.
