Navy men’s basketball head coach Ed DeChellis has announced Jon Perry will join the Navy men’s basketball coaching staff replacing former assistant coach D.J. Black, who took a similar position at Kennesaw State.

Perry joins Navy after spending the previous three seasons as an assistant and associate head coach at Quincy (Ill.), an NCAA Division II member in the tradition-rich Great Lakes Valley Conference. Prior to that, Perry was on DeChellis’ staff at Penn State as the Director of Basketball Operations and starred on the hardwood under DeChellis as East Tennessee State.
