NAIA Point University (GA) has hired Sae’Quahn Rogers as an assistant coach and Brent Gaither as a graduate assistant.
Rogers is a native of Burlington, North Carolina, and graduated from The Burlington School in 2015. He was a two-year letterman and team captain during his junior and senior campaigns for the Spartans basketball team. Rogers finished his high school career being 2x all-conference, all-region 1st team, 2x time All state and finished his senior year with North Carolina 1A state title in 2015. Sae’Quahn then went to NCAA Division II Pfeiffer University, where he played two seasons and avg. 6.5 ppg and 4.7 rebounds and went to the 2016-2017 NCAA DII National tournament. Rogers also recorded an 18-point and 11 rebound game vs. DI March madness participant University of North Carolina in Wilmington. After this, Rogers redshirted at NCAA DII Nyack College 2017-2018 before attending Point in 2018.
While at Point, Rogers helped drastically improve the men’s basketball program his senior year under Coach Jake Deer, going from seven total wins to 15 from his junior to senior year. Rogers was named team captain his junior and senior seasons at Point. Rogers recorded a school-record 21 rebounds vs. Allen his junior year and avg 16 ppg, 7.6 rbp, 3 apg, 1 spg and led the team in all those statistical categories his senior year. Rogers was a two-time Appalachian Athletic Conference player of the week and a first-team all-conference selection. Rogers finished his college career with 1,155 points, 646 rebounds, and 205 assists. After Point, Rogers played two seasons with Parma Basket Project in Parma, Italy where he avg 15.7 Ppg and 6 rebounds and led them to a playoff berth.
Academically, Rogers graduated with a degree in 2020 in Business Administration and a minor in biblical studies from Point. Rogers received his Masters in Sports management and coaching from Olympic management institute in Italy.
Gaither is a native of Atlanta who played at Point from 2016-20.

Gaither received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a Minor in Sports Management and Biblical Studies. He is currently planning to graduate from Point in the Spring of 23 with a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
