Daniel Price has joined the men’s coaching staff at NCAA Division 2 Kentucky State University. Price comes from Midway University where he was the Head Women’s Basketball Coach from 2013-2015. In the two years at the helm Price lead the team to 17 KIAC victories. Before taking over the Midway University Eagles they had only combined for 17 KIAC victories in the previous 5 years combined. Price was an assistant men’s coach at the University of the Cumberlands from 2011-12 and helped the NAIA Division 1 team win the Mid-south Conference tournament championship over powerhouse Georgetown College. Daniel Price, then joined the staff at Georgetown College during the 2012-13 season and helped the Tigers capture the NAIA Division 1 National Championship. Price is no stranger to winning and turning programs around. He will look to help new Head Coach Darnell Williams, restore the Kentucky State Thoroughbreds to a winning tradition
