Dr. Dish basketball recently caught up with former Big Ten star and professional player Courtney Boylan-Douglass. She’s currently playing overseas basketball for Elitzur Holon which is located in Israel.
Courtney, a tremendous leader and vital piece for the University of Michigan was a 4-year player from 2008- 2012. This summer she’s had the opportunity to train with NBA skills trainer Reid Ouse and fine-tune her game using the Dr. Dish All-Star shooting machine. Courtney’s basketball career began to take off during her time playing for the Hawks in Chaska, MN. She was a six year varsity letter winner and named Miss Minnesota Basketball her senior year. She was also an academic all-state and honor roll student and the Hawks all-time career leading scorer.
Courtney began her career at Michigan in 2008-09 and saw action in 30 games. In her debut vs Kentucky she scored a game high 18 pts. Courtney success only continued during her time with the Wolverines. As a senior she started 32 games; averaging 12.7 ppg and 3.9 rpg.
At Michigan, Courtney met her now husband. Stu Douglass is currently playing professionally in Israel as well.
Boylan-Douglass is by far one of the best shooters out there and training with tools like Dr. Dish shooting machines help maintain her consistency and form. With the help of trainer Reid Ouse, Courtney has had the chance to develop her skills in preparation for the upcoming season. The expectations are high and we know that she’ll have a tremendous season this year!
