Murray State coach Steve Prohm signed a one-year contract extension through the 2015-16 season, the school announced Monday. In his first season as head coach he led the racers to 31-2 mark, tying the record for most wins in a single season in Ohio Valley Conference history, and were the only team in Division I to not lose a road game.
The guaranteed contract increases Prohm’s base salary to $270,000. With his radio/TV obligations, the total package will be $300,000 annually, not including incentives.
