Just a quick update on the Friar’s coaching search….according to one of our sources as well as the Providence Journal, former Ohio State and Boston College head coach Jim O’Brien is NOT involved at Providence. Our sources told us that there has been no contact either way on this one – there were reports out earlier in the week that there had been mutual interest. PC seems to continued to be focused on Fairfield head man Ed Cooley. We’ll keep you updated on this one…
