Here are some “quick hitters” for a Friday night. Typically I like to go more in depth, but we are going on a quick family get-a-way this weekend. The DirtQueen will kill me if I’m on too long tonight. Here we go….

• Frank Martin to South Carolina rumors are heating up. Sources are saying AD Eric Hyman has made his choice and all indications are that it’s Martin.

•VCU assistant Jamion Christian is the “hot” name right now at Mt. St. Mary’s. I’ve been hearing from people all day that this could be done soon. He is a 2004 Mt. St. Mary’s alum who has been part of Shaka Smart’s staff for the past two seasons.

• Sounds like Johnson & Wales (CO) head coach Jeff Culver will be the choice at UC-Colorado Springs. I’ve heard that the announcement could come as early as Monday.

•I’ve heard from Multiple sources that Coffeyville CC assistant Kyle Campbell is the leader at Dodge City CC. I’ve been told to expect an announcement any day on this one as well.

• From a great source….it appears that Shannon McKinnon is out as the head coach at Bronx CC. He guided BCC for 3 Years. This past season he won the CUNY Conference Title, Region 15 and District 6 Championship posting a 27-3 record. More on this as it becomes official.
