"Hot Seat" is warming up…..

It’s almost December and the "Hot Seat" has gotten a bit warmer for a few coaches. The last few months have been quiet on the rumor front, with the start of a new season and the hope for success, but now that we are over a month into the season that has changed……

Two situations to keep an eye on are Fordham and Arkansas. Fordham (3 wins last season) has gotten off to a 1-4 start, including a drubbing in the "Battle of the Bronx" by Manhattan. Fordham backers don’t appear to be too happy about the start….

Arkansas has had its share of off-court incidents (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/basketball/ncaa/11/10/…), and has gotten off to a very poor start. The Razorback have lost 3 in a row at home (Morgan State, East Tennessee, South Alabama), and the announced attendance was only 5,187. The Hogs haven’t dropped 3 in a row at home since the 1950’s.

Definitely keep an eye on these situations in the next month or so.
