Miami-Dade College coach Matt Eisele is rumored to be joining Josh Pastner’s staff at Memphis. Two of his players have already signed at Memphis, and he could help steer prized point guard James Beatty towards the Tigers.

New North Florida coach Matt Driscoll is bringing Campbell’s Bobby Kennen on board. Kennan is a Florida guy – he’s worked at Jacksonville, Central Florida CC, Williston (FL), HS and is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic. After blogging about the strange situation at Appalachian State on Monday (http://www.hoopdirt.com/blog/2c7fae83/appalachian-state-rumo…) it appears that the search for the next Mountaineers coach has not gotten any clearer. I am now hearing that The Citadel is prepared to offer Ed Conroy an extension, which would take him out of play at App. St. This is really beginning to drag out.

Patrick Chambers has hired at Director of Basketball Operations at Boston University. Adam Fisher, who has been a graduate manager at Villanova for the past two seasons will move with Chambers to Boston. Fisher was also a four year manager at Penn State.
